The Carolina Panthers open up their 2017 preseason tonight with the goal of getting back to their 2015 form when they advanced all the way to the Super Bowl. If Ron Rivera's team is to repeat that effort, they'll likely be counting on rookie running back Christian McCaffrey for a considerable amount. The 2015 Heisman runner-up out of Stanford is expected to do a little of everything in the Panther lineup and should see his first pro action tonight as the Panthers host the Houston Texans.
