Royals’ Offense Heading in Wrong Direction
Kansas City was scoring a ton of runs to begin the season, but that hasn’t been the case during this losing streak. The Royals are now below league average in total runs, and the lack of power has affected this team.
Veteran catcher Salvador Perez leads the team with seven home runs, and Carlos Santana has a team-high 21 RBIs. Kansas City will have to find some offense to keep up with the explosive White Sox.
Brad Keller is on the mound for Kansas City Friday night, and he is looking to turn things around. Keller has gone just 2-3 with a whopping 8.06 ERA, and this won’t be an easy start for the right-hander.
White Sox Roll Over Royals
Rodón will eventually lose a game, but it isn’t going to happen against a struggling Kansas City Royals offense on Friday night. Even if Rodón does give up a few runs, the White Sox offense is more than capable of bailing him out.
Chicago was the favorite to dominate the AL Central this season, and it looks as if the White Sox are starting to figure things out. This team is still missing some key pieces, but that lineup will do some damage on Friday night.
