Chicago at Tennessee Betting Preview/Week 3 NFL Preseason Picks

Chicago comes into Nashville with a 1-1 record so far this preseason, but they were blown out in their most recent game. The Bears were a playoff team in 2020, but they are not expected to be a real threat to win the NFC North this season.
Tennessee won the AFC South a season ago, and they have a team that is capable of making a deep run in the AFC. The Titans are a perfect 2-0 so far this preseason, and they are always tough to beat when playing on their home field.
The Chicago Bears are 1.5-point road favorites in this matchup, and the over/under has been set at 36 total points.
Fields Ready to Lead Bears
Justin Fields is going to begin the season as the backup quarterback for the Bears, but he has played like a starter in his preseason action. Fields will get a chance to start this game, and that could allow the Bears to get off to a great start on the offensive side of the ball.
The defense is going to lead the Bears once the regular season begins, but this team does not have a ton of depth on that side of the ball. Chicago gave up 41 points to the Buffalo Bills in their most recent game, and that defense is going to get tested again on Saturday.
Titans Getting Some Defense
Tennessee is currently dealing with some COVID-19 issues, and that could affect the performance on Saturday afternoon. The Titans still have plenty of talent on both sides of the ball, especially when it comes to the defense.
This team has given up just six total points in the preseason, and that has come against some pretty impressive offensive teams. Finding a way to stop Justin Fields is going to be a challenge in this matchup, but the Titans should be up to it.
Don’t expect to see running back Derrick Henry on the field in this game, but the Titans won’t need to do a ton of scoring with this defense.
Tennessee Moves to 3-0
Justin Fields has been terrific for the Bears all preseason long, and now he will get a chance to start. Fields will lead the Bears to some points, but he isn’t going to have a ton of weapons to deliver the football to.
Tennessee has been doing nearly everything right so far in the preseason, and this looks like a team ready to have a big regular season. It will be the Titans’ defense that can take this game over in the second half and deliver another win.
Bet the Tennessee Titans +1.5 as they complete the preseason with a perfect 3-0 record after another victory over the Chicago Bears. The under is also the right pick on Saturday, as points are going to be hard to come by.
