We are back with our CFL Weekly Preview, where we go over the matches like Hamilton at Toronto, Saskatchewan at Winnipeg, Calgary at Edmonton, and Ottawa at BC.

Hamilton at Toronto

• Time: 7:30 pm ET

The Tiger-Cats have won two in a row, and were able to impress their home fans last Monday against Toronto. Dane Evans threw for two touchdowns, and linebacker Simoni Lawrence picked off Argos quarterback Nick Arbuckle for a pick-six, as Hamilton prevailed 32-19.

In a rematch, Hamilton will be on the road this time, with a quick turnaround after both teams met this past Monday. The Ticats may have had a rocky start to the season, but Orlondo Steinauer's ballclub is fully healthy on defense and have made a massive impact in the last two weeks.

Even without starting quarterback Jeremiah Masoli, Hamilton is starting to look like the team that made the Grey Cup in 2019. Take them on the road to cover the spread on Friday.

Saskatchewan at Winnipeg

• Vegas Line & Total: Winnipeg by 3 ½; 41 ½

Winnipeg proved why they're the defending Grey Cup champs, going into Mosaic Stadium and coming out with a sound victory over the Riders, who were unbeaten at the time.

The Blue Bombers defense has allowed 20 points or fewer in four of their first five games and takes a lot of pressure off Zach Collaros and the offense. Winnipeg is currently first in the West Division and are showing no signs of why they can't win another championship. With that said, the Riders have only lost one game this season and should put in a better performance this weekend. Right now, these are the two best teams in the CFL, and 9/10 times, games between these two teams should be a one-score game.

Dunkel Pick: Saskatchewan (+3 ½); Over

Calgary at Edmonton

• Time: 7:00 pm ET
• Dunkel Ratings: Calgary 112.803; Edmonton 107.002
• Dunkel Line & Total: Calgary by 6; 47
• Vegas Line & Total: Pick; 42 ½

Edmonton is getting better by the week, and it was capped off by Trevor Harris tearing up the Stampeders. On Monday, they were throwing for 398 yards and four touchdowns. After dropping their first two games at home, the Elks have won two in a row on the road. Jaime Elizondo's "air it out" offense is finally coming together, and Edmonton's defense has been quietly really good as well.

The Calgary Stampeders surely can't be 1-5 after this week, right? Dave Dickenson is too good of a coach, and this is a franchise that hasn't missed the playoffs since 2004. We actually have Calgary listed as -6 favorites on the Dunkel Line. Don't be a prisoner of the moment, and back the historically better team in the Battle of Alberta.

Dunkel Pick: Calgary; Over

Ottawa at BC

• Time: 10:00 pm ET
• Dunkel Ratings: Ottawa 97.077; BC 110.789
• Dunkel Line & Total: BC by 13 ½; 36
• Vegas Line & Total: BC by 7 ½; 43 ½

Ottawa is, without a doubt, the worst team in the CFL and now face a quarterback crisis after quarterback Matt Nichols was benched after five snaps last week against Montreal. Paul LaPolice and Nichols were expected to transfer what they did in Winnipeg to the nation's capital, and it's yet to come together.

The Lions are a league-average team and should finish around .500 by the time the season ends, but they'll dominate Ottawa at BC Place on Saturday. Don't feel scared to back the Lions by a touchdown on the spread.
