CFL Week 19 Betting Preview

As the road to the plays is nearing its end, every game simply means more. With two divisional matches this week, Friday night and the late Saturday window are huge games for the playoff landscape.

The regular season is nearing its end, and the road to Saskatchewan is about to begin!

Montreal at Ottawa

Time: 7:00 pm ET

All of this year, Ottawa has had the Alouettes number. Montreal has beaten tons of impressive teams, such as the blue bombers, but they have not been able to beat Ottawa, which makes no sense. 

Last week these teams played, and Ottawa won yet again by six points. They have been able to cover the spread all season against Montreal, as they will likely do this again for the second straight week in hopes to keep the Redblacks' postseason hopes alive!

Hamilton at Calgary

Time: 9:30 pm ET

When the spread gets a bit ambitious, being conservative is really key in the CFL. Hamilton is fighting to try and avoid elimination as Calgary cannot move up in the west division standings. 

Hamilton was in the grey cup just one year ago, and it seems likely that this team gets hot at the right time, and that starts with this quintessential victory or at least keeping this game close.

Toronto at Edmonton

The Edmonton Elks have been rather poor this year. October 12th marked the three-year anniversary of their last home victory. That alone justifies the spread in favor of Toronto, who has been rather solid this year. 

The Elks have been the worst ATS teams this year, and they are 0-7 at home. Most clubs have a home field advantage, but I've never seen a home-team disadvantage. Toronto should take this one without a doubt. 

Winnipeg at BC

Time: 10:00 pm ET

Vegas Line & Total: Winnipeg by 1 ½; 50 ½
Dunkel Pick: Winnipeg (-1 ½); Over

This is the best matchup of the week. The late hours of the night with a west coast battle? It does not get much better. 

After the first time these teams played this year; it is safe to say Winnipeg will win again. The Lions have only gotten worse over the span of the season due to injuries, so the bombers will emerge victorious and cover this measly spread.
