CFL Week 16 Betting Preview

It's all coming down to the wire. Every game has major postseason implications at this point.

This week features exclusively inter-division games. There is no secret that with five weeks remaining, every game becomes more and more important.

Hamilton at Montreal

Time: 7:30 pm ET

Friday night football starts in Quebec. While one team may be running away with the lead in the Eastern division, second place is still up for grabs!

Both of these teams have beaten Winnipeg and are the only two teams that have done so.

This game could have some fireworks! Dane Evans and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats trot into Percival Molson stadium to face off against Trevor Harris and the Montréal Alouettes!

Both of these teams have had rollercoaster seasons and have been unable to find consistency. Even with that fact, Montreal has been great when it comes down to the wire.

Their kicker, David Cote, has been clutch this year, and I would expect him to do another great job hitting a field goal within the final seconds to cover this spread.

Toronto at Ottawa

The Saturday doubleheader starts with the battle of Ontario in the capital city. The beast from the east will head to the capital city in, what should be, a major game for both sides.

The inconsistent play from both sides make for a great game! McLeod Bethel-Thompson and the Toronto Argonauts head into the nation's capital to face Jaelon Acklin and the Ottawa Redblacks.

Toronto has been pouncing all year on opponents like this. With an up-and-coming offense and aggressive defense, a win is impending for this ball club without a doubt. If Toronto wins this week and Hamilton loses, they clinch a postseason spot, so there is a lot on the line this week.

Calgary at BC

This week's Saturday doubleheader concludes the same way it did last week. With playoff implications for both teams, this will be the game to watch just as it was last week.

Either team winning could be a piece to the postseason puzzle! Jake Maier and the Calgary Stampeders head to Vancouver to face off against Vernon Adams Jr. and the BC Lions.

The Calgary Stampeders are a very competitive and deep team. There is an argument that even proves that they could've won last week. But this week, they are coming back with a vengeance and will win this game.

With a Stamps win, a Cats loss, and a Redblacks loss, both teams clinch a playoff berth, so we can expect this will not be the last time these two clubs throw down!
