CFL Week 11 Betting Preview

Quite the week we had last week. The undefeated Bombers are no more; the BC Lions are sniffing that second spot in the West and the race for the East is finally heating up! This week 11 is bound to be one of the best!

Edmonton at Ottawa

This week's blunder bowl starts on Thursday. The two worst teams in the CFL are squaring off in our nation's capital. Both squads total three wins and 14 losses as a combined record.

This game could be so bad that it's good! The struggling Edmonton Elks (2-7) head to the nation's capital to face the struggling Ottawa Redblacks.

The Redblacks' defense is much better than that of the Elks, as they have been excellent in limiting points and yards. That is likely going to be the reason for their large win this week.

The Elks' offense and defense rank among the league's worst in almost every category. The Redblacks' offense is solid and will put up big numbers in their large win!

BC at Saskatchewan

The West division has been very competitive this year and will likely see that this week! The most complete team in all of the Canadian football heads to Regina to face the most electrifying pass rushers! The BC Lions (7-1) are playing the Saskatchewan Roughriders (5-4) in some Friday fun!

If that does not justify our pick enough, then I truly do not know what does. The best offense and the best defense are within striking distance of that first-place crown. With some serious injury concern to some of the Riders' stars, the pick is justified and even a little bit low!

Hamilton at Montreal

The East has finally been playing well, and this second-place battle is going to be key in the standings. Both teams are within striking distance of Toronto, and a dub could go a long way in the standings. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats (3-6) head to La Belle Province to face off against the Montreal Alouettes (3-6) in the first of two Saturday games!

Montreal got a lucky win this week, and there will likely be more of those luck shenanigans this week. Both teams are decently equal in most lights, but the Alouettes are riding mighty high. They will win by the slightest of margin, just like when they beat the undefeated Winnipeg Blue Bombers!

Calgary at Toronto

This week concludes with a fun Saturday night matchup in the six. An East vs. West matchup for the ages. Both squads came off tough divisional losses as they look to bounce back with a win. Alberta's finest, Calgary Stampeders (5-3), heads to Toronto to play Ontario's finest, Toronto Argonauts (4-4)!

The Argonauts' defense always managed to keep the game close this year. This week, with a tough opponent, it will be no different. This will be a low-scoring affair in which McLeod Bethel-Thompson finally breaks out of his shell and edges out Bo Levi Mitchell in a close Argonauts win!
