The Ticats had no problem defeating the Calgary Stampeders last week with David Watford under center. The Ticats defense has been fantastic ever since they've gotten fully healthy, and there's no doubt they're the team to beat in the East Division.
Meanwhile, Ottawa is an absolute mess and will be turning to a new quarterback this week. Former Pittsburgh Steeler Devlin Hodges will be under center but could be in for the same growing pains that Johnny Manziel experienced north of the border. At this point, the RedBlacks offense can't be any worse than what it was under Matt Nichols and Dominique Davis. Ottawa won't win, but we like them to cover in this spot at +8.5 on the spread.
Montreal at Toronto

Vernon Adams has been really inconsistent in 2021, and the Alouettes ultimately will live or die by the way their dynamic QB performs. Last week, Adams made a boatload of questionable throws, two of which were intercepted and ultimately cost Montreal the game. That was against BC, and Toronto has a much better defense on paper. Take the Argos to easily cover the two and a half points.
Nick Arbuckle and the Argos offense has only put up more than 20 points in a game once this season, but they'll get their chance against a Montreal defense that was carved up by the Lions last week. Look for both Eric Rogers and Ricky Collins Jr. To cause massive headaches for the Alouettes secondary.
Saskatchewan at BC

After a 1-2 start to the season, the Lions have caught fire and have the longest current winning streak in the league. Mike Reilly is finally looking healthy again, and Lucky Whitehead is providing a dynamic option on offense that the Lions have needed for a while now.
Saskatchewan QB Cody Fajardo has struggled all season long, and has only thrown for 300+ yards once in 2021. The Riders heavily depend on running back William Powell, and long term you need your passing game to execute to win in three-down Canadian football.
I like BC to keep their momentum going and claim second place in the West Division with a win on Friday night over the Riders. This is going to be a high-scoring affair, so take the over as well when doing your CFL betting this week.
