Calgary Flames at Dallas Stars Game 6 Betting Preview/Prop Picks

Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Playoff series between the Calgary Flames and Dallas Stars is set for Friday night. Calgary comes into this game with a 3-2 series lead, and the Flames were the big betting favorites to win this series.

The Flames won the Pacific Division this season as they racked up 111 points on the year. Calgary suffered two straight losses in this series, but they have responded by winning each of the last two games.

Dallas got into the playoffs as a Wild Card team this season, and the veteran team is always dangerous. The Stars must find a win on home ice if they want to push this series to a Game 7.

The Dallas Stars are going to have to find more offense if they are going to pull off this upset at home. Dallas has scored just one goal in each of the last two games, and solving Markstrom has become a major issue.

The Stars were not a good offensive team in the regular season, and that has now carried over into the postseason. Center Joe Pavelski will have to set the tone for the Stars on Friday night as he led the team with 81 points in the regular season. 

Goaltender Jake Oettinger has given his team a chance as he has stopped better than 95 percent of the shots that he has faced. Dallas might need their goaltender to steal another game in this elimination game.

Calgary Cruises Into Second Round

Calgary comes into Dallas with a ton of momentum after winning two straight games, and that's a big problem for the Stars. The Flames have finally started to get the offense rolling again, and Markstrom has been shutting down the Stars' offensive attack. 

Playing at home should give the Stars a bit of an edge, but that's not going to help Dallas on the ice. Calgary doesn't want to mess around and send this to a Game 7, and they will get the job done on Friday night.
