The San Francisco Giants got a double dose of bad news yesterday. First they learned that staff ace Madison Bumgarner would be placed on the DL for the first time in his career after suffering injuries to his ribs and throwing shoulder in a dirt bike accident. Then the Giants went out and lost to the Rockies, 6-5, as usually reliable Johnny Cueto was tagged for a grand slam and inside-the-park HR during a six-run fourth inning. Today, the Bruce Bochy's club will try to regroup as the continue their series against Colorado at Coors Field.
