Brooklyn Nets at Cleveland Cavaliers Betting Preview
26 December 2022

We have a great NBA game on our hands tonight, with the Brooklyn Nets traveling to Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers. We are talking about one of the hottest teams in the NBA, which is the Brooklyn Nets.
The Nets have had a great start to the season, with a 21-12 record and a 12-5 record at home. The Nets have not stopped winning - they won eight games in a row and will not stop there. Kevin Durant is having another All-Star-like season with the Nets and has not looked back.
The Cavaliers are coming off a tough loss to the Raptors. The Cavaliers have had an even better season than the Nets coming into this game with a 22-12 record with a record of 15-6 being at home.
The Cavaliers love playing games at home since their record on the road has been 6-9. The man leading the pack for the Cavaliers has been Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell has made a major impact for the Cavaliers, and they are lucky they were able to pick him up this year.
The Nets still on fire
The Nets are coming into the match on the back of an eight-game winning streak. The Nets' last loss was to the Boston Celtics on December 4th. After that loss to Boston, the Nets have not looked back and look like an NBA Finals contender.
That said, the Nets have shared the ball a lot with key players like Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Durant is a key player for the Nets and has so many years left to make the Nets a championship contender. Durant has had help from players like Irving and Nic Claxton.
Claxton has been a huge factor for the Nets by being their rebound leader. Claxton is averaging close to a double-double with 11.8 points per game and adding on 8.6 rebounds per game.
Cavaliers starting the season strong
Few people thought that the Cavaliers would have the season they are in right now. The Cavaliers have started off super-hot this year and are ahead of the Nets in the Central Division.
There have been three main factors on this Cavalier team; Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen, and Darius Garland. Mitchell is leading the team in points per game, averaging 28.9.
Allen is leading the team in rebounds with 10.1. He is also collecting a double-double often because he is also averaging 14.0 points per game.
The last key player would be Garland, who is averaging a solid 20.6 points per game but is leading the Cavaliers in assists with 7.8 per game. These three players are the ones to look for also during tonight's game at home.
