Boston Celtics at Golden State Warriors Betting Preview

The Golden State Warriors host the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night in what should be a terrific NBA matchup. Both teams come into this game with some injury concerns, and that could have an effect on the outcome of this showdown.

Boston enters this game with a record of 10-8, which has it in third place in the Atlantic Division. The Celtics have lost two straight games, and they are looking to turn things around on Tuesday night.

Golden State has won three of its last four games to improve its record to 11-9. The Warriors currently sit in fourth place in the loaded Pacific Division, and making the playoffs in the Western Conference won't be easy.

Boston is averaging just 111.6 points per game, and it isn't getting a lot of production from the bench. The Celtics are led by Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, but those two players need some help from the supporting cast.

Brown and Tatum are both averaging close to 27 points per game, but Kemba Walker has not been a huge offensive threat this season. Boston continues to be a solid defensive team, but it takes points to win games in the NBA.

Warriors Defense Struggling to Get Stops

The Warriors can score, but this team has struggled to get stops on the defensive end of the floor. Golden State is allowing over 113 points per game, but part of that has to do with its style of play.

Stephen Curry leads the Warriors with 27.7 points per game, and he still has the capability to take over a game. Golden State is looking for a second scoring option after Klay Thompson has been sidelined this season.

The Warriors are a young team, but they appear to be headed in the right direction. If Golden State can get stops, then the offense can take control. 

Warriors Stun Celtics in Thriller

Losing Smart is a tough blow for the Celtics, and that will hurt an offense that is already struggling to find points. Boston is heading in the wrong direction, and taking on a Warriors team on the road will not make things any easier.

Curry has been playing well of late, and he is always capable of taking a game over for the Warriors. Golden State has started to figure some things out since a slow start, and it will find a way to win this game.

This game should be tight throughout, and it will likely come down to the final possession. Golden State will pick up an important win with a late field goal to stun the Celtics.
