The Boston Celtics showed off their offensive and defensive prowess in a game against the Washington Wizards. Washington isn’t a great team, to be sure, but the Celtics won by 42 points.

Achieving this feat was mostly due to the efforts of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Tatum went for 22 against the Wizards, while Jaylen Brown had a 32-point game in a huge win.

Perhaps more impressive in that game was the defense giving up just 102 points. This is an area where the Celtics truly excel. On average, the Boston Celtics only allow 104.25 points per game, ranking first in the NBA.

With a defense this efficient, it’s no surprise that they’re second in the Eastern Conference. The question is, how will their defense hold up against the Bulls?

Chicago Bulls: Zach LaVine, back on the “day-to-day” list

Injuries have been Chicago’s biggest problem the entire season. Today, filling up the injury report is Matt Thomas, Lonzo Ball, and Zach LaVine. With all of these injuries, it’s hard to see the Bulls being able to overcome them.

However, the Bulls have one player on the court that has consistently led them to victory. With DeMar DeRozan, the Bulls can come away with a win.

On offense, the Bulls are averaging 111.68 points per game, ranking 11th in the NBA. They’ve lost two straight games to the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat.

To pull themselves out of this slump, they desperately need a win. Not just any win either, a win over a really good basketball team. They’ll have their chance to do so tonight as they face the 49-30 Boston Celtics.
