During the second inning of Jonathon Niese's start last night, the Mets' left-hander learned that his wife was about to give birth to their second child. Perhaps shaken, Niese proceeded to give up homers to Justin Turner and Yasiel Puig in the third inning before being lifted in a 7-2 loss. Ironically, Niese was supposed to face LA's Zack Greinke last night, but Greinke was placed on paternity leave earlier in the day. Both teams will be back at it tonight at Citi Field as Matt Harvey (8-7, 3.19) will take the mound for the Mets against Dodgers' rookie Zach Lee.
