Boise State Broncos at UCF Knights Betting Pick

The Boise State Broncos and UCF Knights are set to meet up on Thursday night for what should be a great battle. Both teams have had plenty of success over the past decade and could represent the Group of Five in a major bowl game.

Boise State was stunned in the Mountain West Conference title game a season ago, but this team will be out for revenge. The Broncos will be led by Andy Avolos this season, and he will bring a defensive mindset to Boise.

UCF is a threat to win the American Athletic Conference this season, but that league will be extremely tough. The Knights will be led by Gus Malzahn this season, and he has a long history of success in college football.

UCF is a 5.5-point favorite at home on Thursday night. 

Broncos Have QB Battle

The Boise State Broncos have two solid quarterbacks in Hank Bachmaier and Jack Sears, and that could create a bit of a controversy. Both players have plenty of experience under center with the Broncos, and both have put up some solid numbers.

A big key for the Broncos on Thursday night will be trying to find some balance on offense as this team tends to throw the ball a ton. Boise State can’t win this game by simply throwing the ball deep, and they have to find a way to have success on the ground.

Quarterback Dillon Gabriel will lead an explosive offensive attack for UCF, and this team is going to put up points in a hurry. The Knights want to make their living by taking big shots down the field, but they also have the ability to break off some big runs as well. 

The Knights have been one of the highest-scoring teams in the country over the last few seasons, but they are also going to try to win games with some defense.

This is going to be one of the best games of the first full weekend of college football, and both teams are looking for a statement win. Both of these teams love to score points, and this could be a high-scoring game with plenty of big plays.

Playing at home is a big advantage for UCF as that is a long trip for the Boise State Broncos in Week 1. The Knights should also have a slightly better defense, and that will allow them to get a timely stop and take control of this matchup.
