It wasn't long ago that the UAB Blazers couldn't imagine playing football much less being in a bowl game. But after dropping the program for the 2015 and 2016 seasons, the Blazers have come back with a vengeance. Bill Clark's team capped off a 10-win season (10-3) with a Conference USA championship -- the schoo's first conference championship ever. Tonight, they'll try to add to that accomplishment as they face the MAC-champion Northern Illinois Huskies (8-5) in the Boca Raton Bowl. The Oklahoma Sooners are off to a solid 9-1 start on the hardwood and have getting contributions from graduate transfer Miles Reynolds, who scored a season-high 20 points in the Sooners most-recent win over USC.
