While Detroit's Justin Verlander was working on a perfect game in the sixth inning last night, Seattle's Jarrod Dyson broke it up with a bunt single. Such an act is frowned on by baseball purists who maintain a no-hitter should only be broken up with a clean hit. But it was hard to argue with Dyson's strategy since it led to an offensive outburst for the Mariners and an eventual 7-5 victory.
