Bermuda Championship Betting Preview
27 October 2020

The Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda, will be hosting the second year of the Bermuda Championship this week for your golfing entertainment. The tournament follows up after a slick performance from Patrick Cantlay at the Zozo Championship.
This event is just two weeks shy of the 2020 Masters. With that in mind, the field for this one is going to be weaker as compared to events such as Zozo or others.
An interesting note is that the winner of this event will be invited to play at the 2021 Masters, so you should expect players to zone in here and perform well.

Top Picks That Could Win
Brendon Todd (-15.950)
Inaugural champion Brendon Todd will be returning to Bermuda this week in an attempt to win back-to-back titles. In other markets, he is the second-best for odds to win even though he had a tie for 47th finish last week.
He is also one of the select few in the field who played last week against better competition and who will also be playing at the Masters. In last year’s tournament, he had a great performance, and it was an alternate field event that was running the same week as the WGC-HSBC Champions.
Harold Varner III (-12.288)
Varner is coming off a great showing with his recent performance at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. He was able to place 13th at TPC Summerlin along with some other big names.
However, Varner has been fairly inconsistent with other recent play. He has finished outside of the top 30 at least six times, with those coming in his last 10 starts on the PGA Tour. In addition, he has also missed the cut four times in that period.
Will Zalatoris (-14.772)
Zalatoris is a favorite to win in every betting market you see. He has been performing well, as he is crushing the Korn Ferry Tour and is also viewed as one of the PGA’s rising stars.
With a somewhat less competitive field and with the right surroundings, he could definitely take this one if others are not ready.
Potential Winner Of This Event
Brendon Todd (-15.950)
Todd is the returning champion, winning in 2019. He had a great performance with a 24-under 260 for that weekend. Not only that, he won by a comfortable four strokes.
He is in a perfect spot to repeat that same success this week. This is a very similar scenario with a weaker field and a new familiarity with the course.
