NASCAR odds are typically trying to side with the history for this race and for good reason. Coming in as the fifth-best option for Dunkel odds is defending champion Chase Elliott.

Elliott has not performed as the best racer overall lately, but he makes an excellent candidate for winning this race since he always finds a way to be close to the top in finishes. He is viewed as a favorite to take this one.

Kevin Harvick (68.945)

Harvick has not won here since 2014. However, he is arguably an excellent choice here because he has nine wins on the season and ranking high as the best option here.

Looking at his season, he is coming in ranked third on the Cup list and is actually not a heavy favorite to win here. This presents an interesting value for betting.

Martin Truex Jr. (69.567)

Truex Jr. won here back in 2017. He has 17 top 10 finishes and one first-place finish thus far. It just seems that he could steal a win here any day now with the amount of top 10 and top five finishes he keeps having.

He is somewhat viewed as a value pick here. He has been quite volatile of late, flip-flopping between mid-20s and then placing in the top five several times.

Winner of This Event

There are a handful of drivers that could steal this event, such as Danny Hamlin with his recent YellaWood 500 or even Ryan Blaney with a victory in 2018 in this event. However, there is one driver that seems to stick out.

Kevin Harvick has 25 top 10 finishes this year, with nine of those being wins. He is apparently on another level right now and is on pace for a 10-win season, which has not been done since 2007.

He is an excellent value right now since he is not completely favored to win on the market but looks very attractive with the Dunkel Index.
