Golfers That Could Win AT&T Byron Nelson
Sam Burns (-28.654) had one bad day, and it cost him the tournament last year. He finished with -22 and only shot -2 in the final round.
Burns has steadily crept into the top 10 world golf rankings and has a chance to move even further with a victory here. He has shown great success, so now is his time to shine.
Justin Thomas (-33.659) is going to show up at some point and add another victory to his resume. His last one was at the 2021 Players, which seems like forever ago.
Thomas is typically in contention with great ball striking and accurate iron play to set up high scoring. However, his putting has let him down in the past.

Scottie Scheffler (-24.146) is going to be the golfer to beat every time he takes the field, in any event, the rest of the season. With four out of six tournaments under his belt this year, including the Masters, he has the perfect chance to win again. For a golfer that is in peak form for a season, Scheffler will be difficult to pass up.

Tournament Matchup: Jhonattan Vegas (-120) OVER Alex Noren
Vegas has made the cut in his last four events and finished in the Top 20 in the last three, including a tie for 15th at last week’s Well Fargo Championship. He currently ranks No. 10 in driving distance (314.8) and No. 39 in greens in regulation percentage (68.74%).
Noren missed the cut at his last event, the Zurich Classic, which followed a tie for 42nd at the RBC Heritage. He ranks No. 113 in driving distance (297.1) and No. 95 in greens in regulation percentage (66.79%).
With Vegas rated No. 8 in this week’s Dunkel Index and Noren at No. 17, take the longer-hitting Vegas (-120) to have the edge over Noren at TPC Craig Ranch.
Tournament Matchup: Jordan Spieth (-130) OVER Tommy Fleetwood
After missing the cut at The Masters, Spieth bounced back in a big way with his 13th Tour victory at RBC Heritage. He currently ranks No. 38 in driving distance (306.2) and No. 25 in greens in regulation percentage (69.61%).
Fleetwood also played well at RBC Heritage (tie for 10th), but missed the cut the following week at the Zurich Classic. He ranks No. 94 in driving distance (298.6) and No. 178 in greens in regulation percentage (63.52%).
With Spieth rated No. 5 in this week’s Dunkel Index and Fleetwood at No. 7, these two should be on the leaderboard all weekend long, but take Spieth (-130) to get the better of this matchup.
