Arizona Diamondbacks at Los Angeles Dodgers Betting Pick

The Arizona Diamondbacks are in Los Angeles this week to take on the Dodgers, and things have not gone well. The series finale is set for Thursday night, and the Dodgers have won each of the first three games.

Arizona has now lost seven of their last eight games, and they are looking for anything to potentially get the season turned around. The Diamondbacks are now 18-26 on the season and are sitting in fourth place in the NL West. 

The Dodgers have won seven of their last eight games, and they have improved their record to 25-18. Los Angeles is still in third place in the division but are making a serious charge. 

It is the Dodgers that are the favorites once again on Thursday night as they look to complete the three-game sweep. 

Arizona Struggling to Score

The Diamondbacks have scored just four total runs in their last four games, and they have a number of slumping hitters in the lineup. It takes a great offensive performance to beat the Dodgers, and Arizona has been struggling to score at all.

Eduardo Escobar leads the Diamondbacks with 10 home runs and 30 RBIs, but he has not been getting much help. Arizona is hitting just .229 as a team, and they have to find ways to put more pressure on opponents.

Merrill Kelly is scheduled to start for Arizona on Thursday night, and things have not gone well. Kelly has gone just 2-4 with a 5.24 ERA to begin the year, and he is facing a great lineup. 

Dodgers Offense Coming Alive

The Dodgers were in a bit of an offensive slump to begin the year, but things have started to turn around. Los Angeles has scored 16 total runs in this series, which has been more than enough to win the first three games. 

Max Muncy and Justin Turner continue to set the tone for the Dodgers, but this team has plenty of pop. Muncy has eight home runs, and Turner has a team-high 23 runs batted in.

The Dodgers have not yet named a starting pitcher for Thursday night, but it likely won’t matter with the way the offense is performing. 

Dodgers Dominate Diamondbacks

Arizona came into this series really struggling, and facing the Dodgers has not helped that cause. Los Angeles is headed in the other direction, and they are starting to look like World Series contenders yet again.

The Dodgers do have a bit of a problem with the starting rotation on Thursday night, but it won’t matter with this offense. Los Angeles has been getting plenty of hits, and the Diamondbacks just haven’t been able to get them out. 

Look for the home team to put together another impressive performance as they take control of this game early and then cruise to victory. This series can’t end soon enough for Arizona as they will lose all four games.
