Illinois State and Old Dominion met earlier this season on the hardwood when the Redbirds dominated the Monarchs in the Virgin Islands Paradise Jam, 64-45. Tonight, the two teams will meet again on Old Dominion's home court in the second round of the NIT. The Monarchs (25-7) come in as a No. 1 seed by virtue of being one of the first four teams not selected for the NCAA Tournament, while the Redbirds (22-12) are a fourth seed.
