The Alabama Crimson Tide (10-2, 0-0 SEC) go on the road to face the Mississippi State Bulldogs (11-1, 0-0 SEC).
Alabama bounced back from losing to 15th-ranked Gonzaga to get an 84-64 home win over Jackson State in their last game. The Crimson Tide improved to 2-0 on the road after their upset over the top-ranked Houston Cougars 71-65 on December 10.
The Bulldogs won their first 11 games before losing at home against Drake 58-52 last Tuesday night. Mississippi State shot poorly in the second half while scoring just 21 points. They also had 17 turnovers and shot under 40% for the game.
The Bulldogs have yet to play a nationally-ranked team but have victories over Utah, Minnesota, and Marquette and have one of the country's top defenses.
Crimson Tide Have An Easy Night
The Crimson Tide is the favorite to win the SEC this season and has had one of the most demanding schedules in the country through their first 12 games.
They should also have Noah Clowney back in the lineup after he missed the last game with an illness. Alabama's firepower should be more than enough to surpass the Bulldogs' solid defense.
Bulldogs Are Trying To Rebound
The Bulldogs haven't performed well against the spread at home, where they're 0-6-1 in the last seven games. Mississippi State hasn't faced this level of competition up to this point and is coming off a loss at home to a team from the Missouri Valley Conference.
They will also need to score more than their 68.3 points per game average if they hope to keep up with this Alabama team.

The experience and superior bench of Alabama will be the difference in this game and their ability to get more offensive rebounds. Taking -2 on Alabama is an easy call.
