Longtime SEC rivals are set to square off on Saturday night in Louisiana as the LSU Tigers host the Alabama Crimson Tide. This game will likely decided the SEC West Division and is a matchup of the Top 10 teams.
Alabama comes into this game with an overall record of 7-1, and that lone loss was on the road to top-ranked Tennessee. The Crimson Tide can still win the College Football Playoff this season, but they can’t afford another loss.
LSU has gone 6-2 through the first eight games this season, and the Tigers are also playing some of their best football of the year. The Tigers are looking to become a title favorite again, and this is a chance for them to make a pretty big statement.
The Alabama Crimson Tide are 13-point betting favorites over the LSU Tigers on Saturday night.
Crimson Tide Want to Score
Alabama comes into Week 10, averaging 43 points per game this season, and they have the ability to score points in a hurry. The Crimson Tide are able to get the job done with a balanced attack, and that will be important in this one.
Quarterback Bryce Young is putting up some big numbers yet again, as he has thrown for 1,906 yards and 18 touchdowns on the year. Alabama will also need to establish the run in this game so that they can keep pressure off of their QB.
Alabama did allow 52 points in the loss to Tennessee just two games ago, but they are holding opponents to less than 17 points per game.
Tigers Will Be Tested
The LSU Tigers are giving up over 21 points per game this season, and that unit is going to be tested in a big way in this game. LSU is allowing just 204 yards per game in the secondary, and that unit is going to have to stand up tall in this one.
Quarterback Jayden Daniels has continued to get better for the LSU Tigers this season, and he has thrown for 1,812 yards and 12 touchdowns. Daniels is also able to make some plays with his legs, and he will need to be great in this one.
The Tigers want to run the ball more than the Crimson Tide does, and they will try to keep the explosive Crimson Tide offense off of the field.
Crimson Tide Roll Over Tigers
LSU does look like a program that is ready to make a deep run next season, but they are still missing some talent needed to compete in the SEC. The Tigers are going to try and slow this game down, but that’s just not easy to do against Alabama.
Bryce Young knows that his team can’t afford to take another loss, and he is going to have a big game to ensure that it doesn’t happen. It might take Alabama a half to really get things going in this game, but they are eventually going to break it wide open.
Bet the Alabama Crimson Tide as they head into LSU and win this game by at least two touchdowns on Saturday.

LSU is averaging 30.9 points per game on offense, which ranks No. 41 in FBS. That average increases to 31.8 points per game at home. Scores have gone OVER in five of the Tigers’ last seven home games versus a team with a winning road record.

Bryce Young (-115) OVER 277.5 Passing Yards
Alabama is averaging 274.4 passing yards per game on offense, which ranks No. 34 in FBS. That average increases to 302.0 passing yards per game on the road.
