Alex Rodriguez' surprising comeback reached another milestone yesterday as he picked up his 3,000th career hit off Detroit's Justin Verlander. A-Rod did it in style as well, hitting a homer into the right-field seats that helped propel the Yankees to a 7-2 win over the Tigers. He also joined Hank Aaron as the only two players to have more than 600 home runs, 2,000 RBI and 3,000 hits. He'll try to add to those totals again today as the Yankees and Tigers square off in the second game of their series in New York.
