The shortened MLB season has not been very kind to either the Texas Rangers (19-35) or Arizona Diamondbacks (20-34). The Rangers own the worst record in the AL, while the D-Backs are ahead of only the Pirates in the NL. They'll both continue to play out the string tonight as they open a two-game set in Arizona. Jordan Lyles (1-5, 7.07) will get the start for Texas, while Caleb Smith (0-0, 4.50) will take the mound for the D-Backs. First pitch is 9:10 p.m. ET at Chase Field. After an off-day, the NBA bubble gets going again tonight with Game 3 of the Western Conference Final between the LA Lakers and Denver Nuggets. The Lakers own a 2-0 lead in the series, but needed an Anthony Davis buzzer-beating three-pointer to take Game 2, 105-103. Tip off is 9:00 p.m. ET at AdventHealth Arena. And the WNBA playoffs return to the Wubble with a pair of contests starting with the Connecticut Sun facing the Las Vegas Aces in Game 2 of their semifinal series. The Sun stunned the Aces in the opener, 87-62, behind Jasmine Thomas' career-high 31 points. Tip off is 7:00 p.m. ET at IMG Academy.
