The Atlanta Braves (9-5) wrapped up their 7-2 homestand in dramatic fashion last night as Nick Markakis connected for a walk-off HR to secure a 4-3 win over the Blue Jays. The Braves will see if they can keep that hot streak going as they hit the road tonight to face the NL East-rival Philadelphia Phillies (3-4), who earned a four-game split with the Yankees with a 5-4 win on Thursday. Rookie Kyle Wright (0-1, 7.50) will take the mound for the Braves, while the Phillies will counter with veteran right-hander Vince Velasquez (0-0, 12.00).  First pitch is 7:05 p.m. ET at Citizens Bank Park. In the NBA bubble, the New Orleans Pelicans (29-39) dropped to 1-3 in their return to the court after yesterday's 140-125 loss to Sacramento that severely hurt the Pels playoff chances. Alvin Gentry's team will try to rebound today as they face the Washington Wizards (24-44), who are 0-4 in the bubble and playing without starters Bradley Beal and Davis Bertans.
