The top two teams in the NHL's Atlantic Division will meet tonight as the Boston Bruins (41-13-12) visit the Tampa Bay Lightning (41-19-5). Boston has been on a tear, posting a 17-5-1 record since early January to move seven points ahead of the Lightning for the division lead. Tampa Bay has won just once in its last five games -- a 4-3 victory over Calgary on Saturday -- and got a dose of bad news with the announcement that captain Steven Stamkos would be out for at least 6-to-8 weeks after undergoing core muscle surgery. Injuries have also been a problem for the Philadelphia 76ers (37-24), who are currently missing All-Stars Ben Simmons (back) and Joel Embiid (shoulder) from their lineup. Bret Brown's shorthanded crew also faces the tough situation of being on the road -- where the Sixers have lost eight straight -- and facing LeBron James and the LA Lakers (46-13), who are coming off a 122-114 road win over the Pelicans in which James collected his 13th triple-double of the season. On the college hardwood, the Kentucky Wildcats (24-5) claimed their 49th regular season SEC title on Saturday with 73-66 win over Auburn and look to be a serious threat to add a ninth national championship. The Wildcats will continue to tune up for postseason play tonight against the Tennessee Volunteers (16-13), who have split their last eight games and are coming off a 63-58 win over Florida on Saturday.
