The Toronto Raptors (39-14) own the longest winning streak in the NBA at 14 straight and will try to keep that alive heading into the All-Star break as they host the Minnesota Timberwolves (16-35) tonight. The Raptors barely survived the Brooklyn Nets, 119-118, on Saturday as they had to play without All-Star guard Kyle Lowry (whiplash). The Timberwolves shook up the roster at the trade deadline, acquiring D'Angelo Russell from Golden State for Andrew Wiggins. And while Russell did not play, the changes may have motivated the rest of the team to snap a 13-game skid with a 142-115 trouncing of the LA Clippers on Saturday. Tip off is 7:30 p.m. EST at Scotiabank Arena. To get Dunkel's pick for this game and the full NBA schedule, click HERE.
The TCU Horned Frogs (13-10) are also mired in a bad stretch as Jamie Dixon's team has dropped seven of its last eight games. The only win came against Texas Tech, 65-54, back on January 21 and they'll try for a repeat tonight as they visit the Red Raiders (15-8). Tip off is 9:00 p.m. EST at United Supermarkets Arena.
