After a sluggish stretch where the Lakers dropped four of seven games, LA has responded with back-to-back wins, the latter coming in a 129-102 thumping of San Antonio on Tuesday. LeBron James tied a season high with six three-pointers as the Lakers put up 78 points on the Spurs in the second half. James and the Lakers will try to keep the hot streak going tonight as LA (38-11) hosts the Houston Rockets (32-18), who look to be snapping out of a funk of their own with three straight victories. The Wichita State Shockers (17-4) have dropped three of their last five games and have struggled on the offensive end while topping 56 points only once during the skid.
