Garza posted his 12th double-double of the season with 21 points and 18 rebounds in a 68-62 win over Wisconsin on Monday, while Smith earned Big Ten Player of the Week honors after averaging 27 points and 11 rebounds in a pair of victories over Northwestern and Indiana last week. Iowa took the first contest between the two teams on January 10 in Iowa City, 67-49, but should face a different Maryland team on its home court where the Terps are 12-0 SU this season. In the NBA, the LA Clippers (33-14) return home for the first time since the Kobe Bryant tragedy as they host the Sacramento Kings (17-30). LA has been on an uspwing of late and completed a 4-1 road trip with a 112-97 win at Orlando on Sunday. The Kings are playing the second of a back-to-back after falling to Oklahoma City last night at home, 120-100. Tip off is 10:30 p.m. at Staples Center. The Nashville Predators (23-19-7) are trying to move into a wild card spot in the West and picked up some much-needed points last night with a 5-4 win at Washington. The Preds will stay on the road tonight as they head to New Jersey to take on the Devils (18-24-7), who came out of the All-Star break with a 4-3 shootout win over Ottawa on Monday.
