The LA Lakers (24-5) recent road trip took a toll on the team as they lost back-to-back games for the first time this season and suffered injuries to stars Anthony Davis and LeBron James. Davis returned for LA's 111-104 loss to the Bucks, but James is listed as doubtful for tonight's contest against the Denver Nuggets (19-8) with a pull in his rib cage area. The defending national champion Virginia Cavaliers (9-1) lost a lot of talent from last year's squad and are finding life challenging on the offensive end. The Arizona Coyotes (20-13-4) sustained an injury to goalie Darcy Kuemper in their 8-5 loss to Minnesota on Thursday and will turn to Antti Raanta to fill the void.
