Perhaps more quickly than anyone anticipated, the Golden State Warriors (5-21) have come back down to earth after playing in five straight championships. In fact, they are subterranean with the worst record in the NBA following Wednesday's 124-122 home loss to the worst team in the East, the New York Knicks. The Warriors hit the road tonight to face the Utah Jazz (14-11), who had lost six of their last eight before beating Minnesota, 127-116, on Wednesday. In college hoops, the Nebraska Cornhuskers have a new coach in Fred Hoiberg and returned only 50 points worth of production from last year's roster, so it's not surprising they have struggled out of the gate with a 4-5 record in non-conference play. A change of head coaches hasn't helped the New Jersey Devils (9-16-5) much as they've dropped four straight since Alain Nasreddine took over for John Hynes.
