In the NBA, Ben McLemore was just an asterisk at the beginning of the season on a Houston Rockets roster that featured James Harden and Russell Westbrook. But McLemore has proven to be much more of late as he's scored at least 24 points in three of the last four games, including a season-high 28 in a recent win over Toronto. Tonight McLemore and the Rockets (15-7) will try to extend their home winning streak to four as they host the Sacramento Kings (9-13), who are coming off a 110-106 upset win at Dallas yesterday. Tip off is 8:00 p.m. EST at Toyota Center. To get Dunkel's pick for this game and the full NBA schedule, click HERE.
On the college hardwood, the Iowa Hawkeyes put up an impressive 91 points against Michigan on Friday, including 44 from center Luka Garza, which was the most by a Hawkeyes player since 1970. But the problem was Iowa gave up 103 to the Wolverines, which was the most by a Hawkeyes team since 2012. Iowa (6-3) will try to tighten it up on the defense end tonight as the Hawkeyes host the Minnesota Golden Gophers (4-4), who are coming off a 78-60 win over Clemson in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Tip off is 8:00 p.m. EST at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. To get Dunkel's pick for this game and the full NCAA Basketball schedule, click HERE.
And in the NHL, the Boston Bruins (20-4-6) saw their 17-game home point streak come to an end on Saturday in a 4-1 loss to Colorado. Their opponent tonight, the Ottawa Senators (12-17-1), will see if they can snap a 10-game losing streak to Boston as they host the Bruins. Face off is 7:30 p.m. EST at Canadian Tire Centre.
