In college hoops, the Holy Cross Crusaders had failed to win a game in their first three contests, but they were at least competitive in narrow defeats at New Hampshire (87-83) and at home against Fairfield (68-63 in OT). The same couldn't be said for their most recent outing as the Crusaders lost to Northeastern by 57 points (101-44).
