The Milwaukee Bucks feel like they have some unfinished business after posting the best record (60-22) in the NBA last year, but failing to make the Finals. Mike Budenholzer's team steamrolled through the preseason with a perfect 5-0 record and top ranking in the Dunkel Index. Kirk Cousins has certainly quieted critics of his play the last two weeks as he's thrown for 644 yards and 6 TDs while leading the Vikings to wins over the Lions and Eagles. Minnesota (5-2, No. 5 in the Dunkel Index) will look to keep that hot streak going tonight as the face Cousins' old team, the Washington Redskins (1-6, No. 31), who's only win came by just one point against the winless Dolphins. Week 9 of college football also kicks off tonight with perhaps the biggest surprise team of the year -- the SMU Mustangs -- heading to Houston to face the Cougars. The Mustangs (9-0, No. 37 in the Dunkel Index) are led by QB Shane Buechele, who is coming off 457-yard, 6-TD performance in a win over Temple. Houston is 2-1 since QB D'Eriq King decided to redshirt for the remainder of the season, but didn't exactly light it up in their 24-17 win over lower-rated Connecticut last week. On the ice, the Montreal Canadiens (4-3-2) open up a mini two-game homestand tonight against the San Jose Sharks (3-5-1). The Habs are coming off a two-game road trip that included a win at St. Louis and a loss a Minnesota. The Sharks (3-5-1) dropped the first game of their five-game road trip Tuesday night in Buffalo. And the Washington Nationals are two games away from a major upset in the World Series after taking Games 1 and 2 in Houston.
