The fortunes of the three teams battling for the crown in the NL Central seem to shift by the minute with injuries playing a major role. First, it was the Brewers who were dealt a blow when Christian Yelich went down for the season. Now it's the Chicago Cubs who have to deal with a setback as first baseman Anthony Rizzo has been placed in a boot after spraining his ankle on Sunday. He's expected to keep the ankle immobilized for the next five to seven days and then be reevaluated. In the meantime, the Cubs must forge ahead without a key piece and showed no signs of a letdown last night in an 8-2 win over the Reds. Chicago and Cincinnati will continue their series tonight at Wrigley with Yu Darvish (6-6, 3.97) taking the mound for the Cubs against Cincinnati's Sonny Gray (10-7, 2.80).
