When the schedulers looked ahead at possible trip-ups for the defending champion Clemson Tigers, many circled tonight's contest against the Syracuse Orange. That dampened somewhat when the Orange were trounced last weekend at Maryland, 63-20. But Dino Babers' team has proven to be a tough out in the last two meetings. Two years ago, the Orange were the last team to beat the Tigers in the regular season when they knocked them off in the Carrier Dome, 27-24. Then last season, the Orange led at Death Valley by 10 in the fourth quarter before backup QB Chase Brice led a 94-yard scoring drive that saved Clemson's season, 27-23. Tonight's contest is back at the Carrier Dome and you can get Dunkel's pick for this game and the full NCAA Football schedule by clicking HERE.

The Atlanta Braves (92-57) have shown no signs of flinching under the pressure of a pennant race and actually looked to get a little stronger yesterday with the return of veteran outfielder Nick Markakis. Returning to the lineup last night for the first time since breaking his wrist almost two months ago, Markakis immediately made an impact with two hits, an RBI, and a defensive gem in the Braves' 5-0 win over the Nationals (81-65). Atlanta will continue its series at Nats Park this afternoon with Mike Foltynewicz (6-5, 5.00) taking the mound against Washington's Austin Voth (1-1, 4.00). Week 14 of the CFL schedule continues with a pair of games, including the Montreal Alouettes (6-4) trying to take advantage of a Saskatchewan Roughriders (7-4) team that is coming off a 35-10 loss to Winnipeg last week. To get Dunkel’s pick for this game and the full CFL slate, click HERE.

Matchweek 5 of the English Premier League also begins on Saturday with seven matches capped off with Norwich City (1-0-3) hosting Manchester City (3-1-0). To get Dunkel’s pick for this match and the full EPL schedule, click HERE.

And Week 2 of the NFL schedule kicked off Thursday night with Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers upsetting the Carolina Panthers, 20-14, with a key goal-line stop in the closing seconds. To get all the NFL picks for this weekend’s games, click HERE.
