Cleveland pitcher Shane Bieber got a lot of attention recently when it was revealed that he had been mistakenly referred to as "Justin" on the back of one of his baseball cards. That may be the only confusion between the two Biebers, especially when it comes to Shane's work on the mound. The 24-year-old right-hander has been a rock for Terry Francona's pitching staff, which has been hampered by an injury to ace Cory Kluber and illness to Carlos Carrasco. Tonight, Bieber (12-5, 3.27) will make his first career start against the NY Mets (64-60) as the Indians (74-51) open up a series at Citi Field. In the WNBA, the Los Angeles Sparks (15-10) will try to snap a two-game losing streak against as they return home tonight to the Staples Center to host the Minnesota Lynx (13-14). The Sparks are 9-2 at home this year and haven't lost since June 18. Minnesota, meanwhile, is just 2-5 in its last seven road games.
