There's never been a question the NY Yankees offense can produce a lot of runs in a hurry. Rather the uncertainty with the team has been whether the starting pitching can hold up. Judging by the Yankees' weekend series with Toronto, that doesn't seem to be much of a question either. New York (59-32; No. 3 in Dunkel's latest MLB rankings) held the Blue Jays to just three runs combined while taking two of three from Toronto and is now 12-0-1 in their last 13 home series. That doesn't bode well for the Tampa Bay Rays (55-40; No. 6), who open a critical four-game set tonight at Yankee Stadium trailing the Bronx Bombers by six games in the AL East. James Paxton (5-4; 4.01) will get the start for New York, while Tampa Bay will go with ace Blake Snell (5-7, 4.70). To get Dunkel's pick for this game and the full MLB schedule, click HERE.

The LA Dodgers showed no let up in their first-half pace as they took two of three from the Red Sox in Boston to maintain a solid lead in the Dunkel MLB Rankings. In the AL, the Minnesota Twins continued their surprising turnaround as they won two of three from the Indians in Cleveland to hold on to the No. 2 spot.
