Despite having to put slugger Joey Gallo on the 10-day IL with a strained oblique, the Texas Rangers (30-27) have been playing their best ball of the season. Winners of 13 of their last 18 games, the Rangers open up a three-game set tonight at home against the Baltimore Orioles (18-41), who start a road trip after being outscored 16-3 by the Giants in their last two home games over the weekend.
