While the LA Dodgers have put some distance from the pack in the NL West, the race for second right now is very tight with San Diego, Arizona and Colorado separated by only two games in the standings. The Rockies (26-27) have picked up some ground after taking the first two games of their home series against the D-Backs (28-27). Arizona will try to salvage a game tonight as it sends its hottest pitcher to the mound in Robbie Ray (4-2, 3.26). Ray is looking to close out a strong month of May during which he's gone 3-0 with a 2.10 ERA in his five starts. On the ice, the Boston Bruins erupted with four unanswered goals in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup to come away with a 4-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues. The Bruins outshot the Blues 30-12 over the final two periods and dominated them physically as well. How St. Louis responds will be on display tonight as Game 2 takes place at TD Garden.
