Not usually known for their offensive production, the San Diego Padres (28-24) set a club record yesterday with seven HRs en route to a 19-4 thrashing of the Toronto Blue Jays (20-32). Getting trounced at home has been nothing new for the Blue Jays, however, as they've dropped 10 of their last 12 games at Rogers Centre. The Padres will go for the road sweep this afternoon with Chris Paddack (4-2, 1.93) taking the mound against Toronto's Marcus Stroman (2-6, 2.81).
