It's a mirror image in the NHL where the Eastern Conference champ has been settled with the Boston Bruins sweeping the Carolina Hurricanes, while the Western Conference series between the St. Louis Blues and San Jose Sharks continues. The Atlanta Braves (26-22) new lineup with Ronald Acuna Jr batting leadoff continues to pay dividends. Since manager Brian Snitker made the change 10 games ago, the Braves have gone 8-2, including last night's 4-1 win over the San Francisco Giants (20-26) during which Acuna went 3-for-4 with an HR. Acuna and the Braves will be back on the field at Oracle Park tonight as Atlanta sends Julio Teheran (3-4, 3.88) to the mound against San Fran rookie Shaun Anderson (0-0, 360).
