Things couldn't have gone much worse for the Houston Rockets in their first two games against Golden State. Claiming they didn't get many officials calls in Game 1 and having star James Harden raked in the eyes in Game 2, the Rockets left the Bay Area down 0-2 to the Warriors in their best-of-seven conference semifinal series. Faced with going down 1-3 in their conference semifinal series, the Boston Bruins found a way to knock off the streaking Columbus Blue Jackets on the road in Game 4, 4-1. The San Diego Padres jumped out to an early 3-0 lead on Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers last night with two of the runs coming off former teammate Manny Machado's HR. But the Dodgers clawed back and ended up winning, 4-3, on Max Muncy's RBI single in the ninth. These two teams will be back on the field tonight at Petco Park for Game 2 of their series with LA sending Rich Hill (0-0, 1.50) to the mound against SD's Joey Lucchesi (3-2, 4.94).
