With the first month of the MLB season in the books, the surprising Tampa Bay Rays own the best record overall at 18-9. The Rays finished off a two-game sweep of the defending champion Red Sox yesterday and head to Kansas City tonight to take on the Royals, who have the worst record in the AL at 9-19. Kevin Cash will go with his "opener" Ryne Stanek (0-0, 1.32) in this one, while the Royals counter with Brad Keller (2-2, 3.41), who is coming off his five-game suspension for hitting the Chisox' Tim Anderson on April 17. Having the two goalies with the best GAA in the NHL this year (Jordan Binnington and Ben Bishop) pointed to a close matchup between the St. Louis Blues and Dallas Stars, so it is no surprise that the series is tied at 1-all after a pair of games in St. Louis. When the Toronto Raptors acquired Kawhi Leonard in the NBA off-season, they were hoping the All-Star would get them over the postseason hump that has brought them down in the past. Leonard's leadership was on full display in Game 1 of Toronto's series with Philadelphia as he scored a postseason career-high 45 points to lead the Raptors to a 108-95 victory.
