The transition from the Duncan-Parker-Ginobili era in San Antonio doesn't seem to be hamstringing the Spurs right now. Behind the new foundation of LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan, the Spurs (42-29; No. 13 in Dunkel's power rankings) have rolled to nine straight wins, including a 111-105 victory over the defending-champion Warriors on Saturday. The win secured the Spurs 22nd straight winning season -- an NBA record. They'll try to add to that tonight as San Antonio welcomes the Miami Heat (34-36; No. 19) to AT&T Center. In the NHL, the Tampa Bay Lightning (56-13-4; No. 1 in Dunkel's power rankings) and the Washington Capitals (43-23-7; No. 5) play for the second time in less than a week when they meet in DC tonight. On Saturday, it was the Lightning that dominated in Tampa Bay as they came away with a 6-3 victory.
