Head-to-Head Matchup to Watch
Denny Hamlin (102.765)
Hamlin won this race back in 2012 and has accumulated three top-five finishes since, including two of the past three years and a fifth-place finish last year. This season alone, he has four top-five finishes in five races and arguably has the best momentum.
Hamlin is always near the top of the leaderboard. He finished third last week and led 11 laps.
Joey Logano (107.199)
Logano has put together his best performances since joining Team Penske. In his last six starts with Joe Gibbs Racing, his best was only an 18th finish.
Looking at eight starts with Penske, he has only one finish worse than 14th just once and four top-six finishes out of eight tries. He also was a runner-up in two out of his last four races this year. In the most recent race, the Instacart 500, Logano came away with a second-place finish.

Drivers That Could Win
Martin Truex Jr. (104.619)
Even though Truex is winless at Atlanta Motor Speedway in his 22 career starts, he does have six straight top-eight finishes and put together a top-eight or better in eight out of his last nine starts. This includes a runner-up finish in 2019 and a third-place finish a year ago.
Truex Jr. has some momentum on his side after winning last week. In addition, he has three straight top-six finishes going into this weekend.
Brad Keselowski (105.320)
This Team Penske racer has six consecutive top 10 finishes coming in Atlanta, as these include three top two’s and even two victories in his last four tries. Looking at the calendar, he has won every other year, so if you believe in just that alone, he will be your 2021 winner. Keselowski came away with a fourth-place finish last weekend.
Potential Winning Pick
Kevin Harvick (106.392)
Harvick’s dominance as a lap leader king in Atlanta is an understatement. He has led 100 or more laps when looking at seven out of his last nine Atlanta starts, as he averages 158.7 laps led in just his last seven tries. Last week, Harvick finished 6th.
Harvick also has put together 12 top 10 finishes in his last 14 tries at the Georgia race track, including a win last year. He also has finishes of second, sixth, ninth, first, fourth, and first in his most recent six events.
We expect this to be one of the best races of the season. The Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 is a highlight for many in the racing world. Make sure you tune into FOX and see this 500-mile race that features 325 laps of excitement!
Brad Keselowski (-115) Over Joey Logano
Keselowski and Logano are teammates for Team Penske and Cup Series title contenders. But the season didn't start out so harmonious when they were both involved in a last-lap crash that cost them a shot at the Daytona 500.
For Keselowski, it was another disappointment after finishing one spot shy of winning his second Cup Series title last year, a slight that he admits still gnaws at him. He has started to look more like a title contender this year with a 2nd place finish at Las Vegas followed by a 4th place last week at Phoenix.
The 34-time winner feels comfortable in Atlanta as well, where he has taken the checkered flag in two of the last four races.
Logano finished 2nd last week at Phoenix, but was disappointed in not being able to hold the lead from winner Martin Truex, Jr. Prior to that, the 26-time Cup winner had finished 9th at Las Vegas and just 25th at Homestead-Miami. Logano has never won at Atlanta and has finished 23rd and 10th in his last two starts.
The Dunkel Index has Keselowski rated No. 4 in this week's race, while Logano is rated No. 8. In the battle of teammates in Atlanta, we will take Brad Keselowski (-115) to finish ahead of Joey Logano.
