NHL Preseason/Sunday's Picks

The Boston Bruins and Washington Capitals open up their respective preseasons tonight with a rematch of last year’s first round series in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Game time is 5:00 pm ET at Capital One Arena.

After dropping Game 1, the Bruins won four straight against the Capitals to take the series. That made three straight first round eliminations for the Caps since they won the Stanley Cup in 2018.

While both teams will be made up of a smattering of veterans combined with rookies and bubble players, Dunkel has Washington to pull out a win on its home ice with a goal total over the Vegas total of 5 ½.
