NBA Finals Game 6 Betting Preview: Phoenix Suns at Milwaukee Bucks/Player Prop

NBA Previews

An NBA champion could be crowned on Tuesday night when the Milwaukee Bucks host the Phoenix Suns for Game 6 of the NBA Finals. Milwaukee currently holds a 3-2 series lead and can close this series out with a win on their home floor.

Phoenix had very little trouble in the first three playoff rounds and got off to a big start in this series as well. The Suns have fallen apart in the last three games, and they are now facing elimination for the first time this postseason.

Milwaukee has rattled off three straight wins, and they just continue to fight through adversity any time they are down. The Bucks will get a huge boost from the home crowd on Tuesday night in Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee Bucks are five-point favorites at home in Game 6.

Suns Defense Must Show Up

The Suns were one of the best defensive teams in the NBA during the regular season, and that continued to begin the playoffs. Suddenly the Suns have stopped getting stops, and the Bucks continue to find ways to score.

Devin Booker is leading the Suns with 27.7 points per game, and he continues to do all he can to help his team win games. Center Deandre Ayton has also been playing well in this series, but those two stars can’t do it alone.

Chris Paul played a huge role in turning the Suns’ franchise around, but he has really struggled in the last few games. The Suns need Paul and the rest of the role players to step up if they want to keep the season alive.

Milwaukee Being Led by Star

Giannis Antetokounmpo is doing everything that he possibly can to lead the Bucks to an NBA championship. The “Greek Freak” is averaging 29.2 points and 12.8 rebounds per game and has made several signature plays.

Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday are also stepping up big for the Bucks, and that duo is averaging more than 41 points per game. The Bucks still could use some more depth, but the stars are leading the way.

Milwaukee wants to push the tempo in this game and try to wear down the Suns by the 4th quarter. The Bucks have all of the momentum, but getting the fourth win of any series is always the toughest to get.

Bucks Cruise to Championship

Phoenix won’t go down without a fight, but the Suns won’t be able to keep up for the entire 48 minutes. The Suns just aren’t getting good enough play from Chris Paul, and the defense has gone missing.

Milwaukee has looked extremely impressive in the last three games, and they won’t be wanting to return to Phoenix for a Game 7. With Antetokounmpo leading the way, the Bucks are going to blow this game open late as they win this game by double-digits.

It’s going to be quite the celebration in Milwaukee as this small-market franchise is going to win the title. Bet the Milwaukee Bucks -5.0 over the Phoenix Suns to win the 2021 NBA Championship.

Player Prop

Giannis Antetokounmpo (-134) Over 12.5 Rebounds

The Greek Freak has the Bucks on the brink of their first championship since 1971. Much has been made of his scoring 32.2 ppg while leading Milwaukee back from an 0-2 deficit.

But equally impressive has been Antetokounmpo’s dominance on the boards where he’s averaging 13.0 rebounds in the series. Game 5 was a rare off night for the 6-11 power forward as he recorded only 9. That was his first single-digit effort since returning from his injury in the Atlanta series.

And he’s been aggressive in close-out games this postseason as he registered 13 rebounds in Game 7 against Brooklyn and 12 in Game 4 against Miami. Both those games were on the road.

Playing in front of the home crowd tonight with a chance to secure the title, we’ll take Antetokounmpo to continue to be a force in the paint and go over 12.5 rebounds.
